CSSA – cyber security sharing and analytics
CSSA was founded in November 2014 by seven major German companies as an alliance for jointly facing cyber security challenges in a proactive, fast and effective manner. Contrary to cyber attackers who obviously have an incentive to collaborate, commercial enterprises originally have had little interest in sharing information on attacks and damages with others. This information asymmetry needs to be overcome.
The association’s main idea is the coordinated and secure exchange of information allowing organizations to benefit from the knowledge of their peers. CSSA focusses on sharing and analyzing cyber threat intelligence in a collaborative approach.
Together, member companies strive to better understand cyber threats in order to enhance detection mechanisms, augment incident response actions and develop their cyber defense capabilities.
EMBASSY supported CSSA in the name development and designed the logo and the corporate design, including print media, the website and the stationery.
